For over twenty years my wife and I have received treatment of the highest standard from both Dr. Malik, as the principal dental surgeon, and from his associates. Hygienist and reception staff have also been exceptionally caring and efficient.
My wife has reason to be particularly grateful for the rapid recognition and referral by Dr. Malik of an early stage oral cancer. This resulted in a successful operation at the Royal London Hospital in 1996.

As an experienced 'implantee' - with a good ten of them in my head - I'm telling this mainly to give the sort of info I might have found useful myself at the time.
Cost: of course you'll be involved in some. You'll also find, not only on the net, 'great savings' if you opt for treatment in Eastern Europe etc.; go down that road and you'll have to allow for a minimum of, say, 14 return flights, most of them at short notice, for the past-implant work and that is just the start, as near to home as possible made perfect sense to me.
The time element: At the end of the treatment you'll know why an experienced dental practitioner will not give an exact time span, every individual, (and every individual tooth) has a different 'healing speed', and this is sure the one thing you don't want to rush.
Pain: What pain? In some twenty sessions I experienced slight to medium discomfort on 2 - 3 occasions, never any pain. So you don't need courage, but a bit of stoicism will come in handy.
Benefits: Have a look at the "before and after" pix. They are genuine - the way these people look is the way they feel, ie. brill. Why Dr A Malik's Smile Design Dental Practice? Well, he has looked after us for years, he knows what he is doing, and I have now found out, there are few equal certainly none better. Heard of Dr Hilt Tatum? He is one of his consultants. sa i all. That says it all!
They have done a grand job on me for which I am grateful. These few lines ate the least IP can do for the team - and possibly for you.

My wife Heather has had many treatments whilst she has been a patient of Mr Malik's. The most outstanding being the implants she received some years ago. It was only due to the pre talks and information Mr Malik gave her that she was confident enough to go through with the work, as it all sounded quite bizarre. The post op care was superb and Mr Malik was on hand for weeks after to help in any situation that might have arisen, making her all the more comfortable with the situation.

For myself: I have never liked injections, and having to need them in the area being worked on (ie in the mouth) it made it even worse as I could see the needle going in. Previous to becoming a patient of Mr Malik's, I have always used dentists who could give me a shot in the arm to put me to sleep. Since joining Mr Malik's surgery, his confidence inspired my own, enough to enable me to undertake a considerable amount of work by being injected in the mouth. Not only is it Mr Malik himself that I would like to praise, but also all of his staff too. They are all very helpful and nice, and it makes it more all the more pleasurable to visit the dentist these days.

My wife recommended Woodford Dental Practice some seventeen years ago. The first time I went for an appointment I was struck by the welcome smile from the lady receptionist, who took my details and booked me in for the next week to see Mr Malik.
I went and was made to feel at home, Mr Malik gave me an examination then explained what had to be done and I have never looked back since. I am now seeing Mr Ho who looks after me very well, as I have had a stroke and bit deaf, he is very patient with me and a nice lad.
The ladies on reception look after me like a dutch uncle, if I need an emergency filling they do their very best to fit me in.
Nobody likes going to the dentist but if you are lucky to find a good dentist and lovely staff then it's not too bad and I have.
